Playing craps may seem intimidating at first glance, but once you understand the basic rules, it becomes an exciting and straightforward game. To start playing, place your bets on various areas of the table layout indicating different possible outcomes. You can choose between betting for yourself (the shooter) or against other players (betting against the shooter).
Once all bets are placed, it's time for the shooter to roll both dice. If they roll a 7 or 11 on their initial throw (known as "natural"), they win automatically and continue rolling until they hit another point number or seven out ("crapping out"). However, if they roll any other number such as 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 ("point number"), their goal becomes trying to repeat that point number before rolling a seven.
